CLASS 1: An Intro To Our Faith & The Bible

You’ve made the decision for Christ (or perhaps that story is yet to be written in your life). But what’s next? How do we begin to walk-out our new-found faith? The Bible is the starting point. But what is it? And how do we read it? Let’s talk about the Bible—the who, what, when, where, and why’s—for a deeper understanding of the world’s most influential book.

CLASS 3: Redemption

God so greatly desires his relationship with mankind to be restored that he put in place the perfect plan of redemption through Jesus. Each of us are now offered a choice: do nothing and remain in sin, darkness, and rebellion—or—restore our broken relationship with God by accepting the free gift of salvation through Christ Jesus. Ultimately, one day God promises to return his creation to its perfect state. And for those who have accepted Jesus, we get to look forward to walking with God in perfect relationship…His original design restored.

CLASS 4: Who Was Jesus In The Flesh?

Jesus was fully God, but He was also fully man. He was susceptible to the same temptations and sins that we face in the world. He experienced all the similar pains and sufferings of the world. But when He rose above it all, He became our sympathetic savior.

BIBLE READING PLAN: Matthew 1-13

CLASS 5: Holy Spirit

When Jesus died and rose to heaven, His spirit was spread across the Earth. The Holy Spirit promises power and authority to the followers of Jesus. But for those who don’t know Him, the Holy Spirit is actively working in people’s hearts, convincing them of the need for a savior.

CLASS 6: Salvation - What Does It Mean For Me? Part 1

The greatest day of your life is the day you’ve been saved. Your relationship with God is restored. Your eternity is resolved. You’re heaven bound. You have a new Lord of your life. And where we once lived a life struggling for meaning, He now empowers us to partner with Him to accomplish His purposes.

ACTIVATION

JOURNAL: Identify areas of your life where you’re not submitted to the

Lordship of Jesus.

ACTIVATE: What will you do about this?

PRE-WORK

WATCH: Bible Project on Mark

BIBLE READING PLAN: Mark 1-8

CLASS 7: Salvation - What Does It Mean For Me? Part 2

God now lives in us. We are the temple of the Holy Spirit. And the same powers that overcame the enemy in Hell reside in us. That power allows us to live a victorious life, becoming more and more like Him.

ACTIVATION

JOURNAL: Identify areas of your life that do not currently reflect the victorious life that God promises.

PRAY: Ask God how you can change this.

PRE-WORK

BIBLE READING PLAN: Mark 9-16

CLASS 8: Life With Jesus — Less Like The World

Life should no longer look the same as it did before we were saved. The Bible describes us as a new creation in Christ. He is now our head, and we are the body. As we submit to His leading, our lives are going to transform. We become an image bearer, being more like him and less like the world.

ACTIVATION

JOURNAL: Ask God to reveal to you any areas of your life that need to be submitted to him. As He shows you things, consider some initial actions you can take.

CONNECT: As you experience changing dynamics of existing relationships, be intentional to develop new relationships with other Christians. Invite another group member or someone from church to coffee to share what you’re learning.

PRE-WORK

WATCH: Bible Project Overview Luke 1-9

BIBLE READING PLAN: Luke 1-9

CLASS 9:Life With Jesus — More Like Him

Our goal is to become more like Jesus and that requires spending time with Him. We need to know His story, how he acted, and what he said. But learning about Jesus isn’t enough, we actually need to know Him personally. This means spending time with Him and His family. Our transformation into becoming more like Christ will last a lifetime.

ACTIVATION

CONNECT: As you experience changing dynamics of existing relationships, be intentional to develop new relationships with other Christians. Invite another group member or someone from church to coffee to share what you’re learning.

CLASS 10:Who Is Jesus To You?

By now, you’ve heard who Jesus says He is and who others say He is, but the most important thing is who He is to you. Our ability to express who Jesus is to us personally is our primary way of reaching the lost. Let’s get comfortable talking about Jesus AND sharing our faith with the people around us.

ACTIVATION

PRACTICE: If you weren’t comfortable sharing your testimony today, practice it in the quiet of your own home to become more comfortable.

SHARE: Ask God to show you if there is anyone you should share your testimony with.

CLASS 11:Sharing Your Faith & Knowing The Gospel — The Roman’s Road

Sharing your faith with others can seem overwhelming. But the Apostle Paul gives us a roadmap called the Romans Road. It guides us on how to lead others to Jesus.

ACTIVATION

MEMORIZE: Study and learn the 6 stops of the Romans Road.

CONNECT: Connect with someone that God is putting a spotlight on in your life. Ask God to show you how you can be a light to them (pray for them, have a conversation with them, leading them to Christ).
